Static codes contain your data directly. They do not expire and use no Mindblown redirect. Anyone with the code can read its contents, including a Wi-Fi password. Test the downloaded code before printing.

A Wi-Fi QR code lets a compatible phone read network details without typing them. This example uses a fictional guest network. Replace both the name and password before generating a code for your own network.

Example input

SSID: Guest WiFi
WPA: demo-password

Expected result

WIFI:T:WPA;S:Guest WiFi;P:demo-password;H:false;;

Try it step by step

  1. Keep Wi-Fi selected and replace the sample network name and password.
  2. Choose the matching security type and the hidden-network setting if needed.
  3. Generate the code, scan it with a compatible phone and verify the network before downloading PNG or SVG.

How to read the result

The expected result is the text encoded inside the QR image. Anyone who can read that code can recover the network name and password; the QR image does not encrypt them. Use a guest network when appropriate and distribute the image only to intended users.

Limits and important details

Device support varies. The demo password is public and must not protect a real network. If the real password changes, generate and distribute a new code.
