This example encodes the reserved demonstration address https://example.com/. Replace it with the complete HTTPS address you want people to visit. A static code stores that address directly; it does not need a separate QR redirect account.
Example input
https://example.com/Expected result
https://example.com/Try it step by step
- Select URL and enter the full website address, including https://.
- Generate the code and compare the displayed destination with your intended address.
- Download PNG or SVG, then scan the final image at the size and distance at which it will be used.
How to read the result
The decoded text should match the destination shown in the expected result. Keep the light border around the code and avoid stretching it. A static code continues to contain the same address even if the website later changes or becomes unavailable.
Limits and important details
Generating a QR code does not verify that a website is trustworthy or online. The destination cannot be edited inside an already printed static code; changing it requires a new code.
